Pins and needles?

Earlier when I was standing over the stove, I had what felt like pins and needles in the lower part of my calf, in my ankles and in my feet. My feet are slightly swollen now. This happens every now and then, and it slips my mind to talk to my OB about it. (I seriously need to write questions down.) I'm not sure what is normal or not beings this is my first pregnancy...So, yeah.. Normal?
