Quoting Becca Clontz:" Did it pass or did you have to re-home it? I don't know what I'd do without mine. They've really taken ... [snip!] ... Joey has ever been around small children and I'm shocked at how he's bonded with her. Not too many small dogs like children."
She lives with my mom, now.
We live on the 2nd floor in an apartment with no elevator
I had a c-section, and SO was at work, so it was very hard to be able to walk her 3x a day and be a new mother to a newborn. She started to get a bit down after being the absolute center of attention for 8 years, so I had to give her to my mother so that she could be happy and properly taken care of while I was healing and adjusting.
It broke my heart
But she's always loved my mom, and now she spends every day in a big yard with her two "sisters" (two fat ass Corgis that she bosses around).
I'm hoping one day we could get her back, but now my mom's gotten very attached
