Parents that have their baby sleeping in the same room as yo

posted 14th Oct
My DD crib is in me and DH room. Everytime we move on the bed DD wakes up (goes back to sleep on her own most of the time) or even when the slightest noise is made. How do you other mama's not wake your LO up?

sleep with a fan on. babies like white noise. I can't sleep in a dead quiet room.
I never had it quiet when my daughter slept, so she is used to noise.

I've never been quiet around my kids while they were sleeping from day one. As babies, they nap/ped with the light on. I clean or move stuff or play music in the same room as them. It helps them to sleep deeper without being woken up so easily.

we had a powerful loud fan on, and it covers up any noise. My boys have it in their room now and I could go in and check on them at any time without waking them, even with their squeaking door. I also play music on throughout their afternoon naps and they can't hear a thing in their room because of that fan.

Yea, I have heard to do that from day one and I thought I was but now that I look back, we do tip toe around her a lot. I hope it's not to late to fix this.

Kalea sleeps in her crib next to my bed. The only thing that wakes her is the floor creeking. It does that pretty loudly. She's pretty great with noise though. So is my son. I've just always went along with normal business.I don't try to be extra quiet or anything. My house isnt loud but there is always games playing or a tv loud or dogs playing people talking. I think it helps the kids sleep easily in loud areas. Not wake up to every tiny sound. She sleeps best with music playing.

We've always been noisy when DD was sleeping since she was a newborn.
I heard that makes them sleep better without being woken up.
Now DD is 9 months old and I can vacuum right beside her bed and she doesn't even move, lol.

Guess I should start doing this then. I hope it doesn't take DD a long time to adjust.
