Yeah at 18, I thought I was going to marry my oldest sons father. I thought that we would have our son and ride into the sunset. Nope... didnt happen.

People will try to give you relationship advice no matter what. You know your relationship better than anyone else. Me and SO were eachother's first love, first everything 8 years ago. We were 13. We knew we were in love, but people told us we were too young to know. We wound up breaking up for a few years and getting back together a couple of times. This time we've grown up and know how a real healthy relationship is supposed to be. I, too have had one other serious relationship. It even lasted 3 years. We lived together, paid bills together, did everything together... But it just wasn't anything like what me and SO have or ever did have. Honestly I completely believe in first love and true love, and when you feel it, you know. I also believe it knows no age because I was a victim of being young and completely in love. Even after 8 years and all the smurf we have been through, we know (from experience) that there's no one else for us. We're meant to be together.

So my point being, lol, don't let what others tell you get you down. You know your relationship better than any one that will try to tell you what your relationship really is, and in reality they have no idea how your relationship will be years from now. Right now, you're in love. You believe your going to be together years from now, and that mentality is what keeps couples together. So smurf the haters and stay focused on what you know about your relationship and what's working with it. Not what people that don't know you or your relationship think.

I'm not being pissy it just aggravated me when people tried saying stuff about me and my relationship..... that's all. No one has the right to. I wouldn't have minded if you were polite about it but the way you put it just came off as ignorant to me. It's over and done with now though, I don't care
