Christmas Eve Open House Menu?

We are having an Open House on Christmas Eve. For many people, it will be the first time that they have been to our new house, so we want to make a good first impression.

Date - Christmas Eve (duh)
Time - 2-8 pm
Invite List - Friends and family - about 40 through out the day, mainly adults but there will be 3-4 children under 5 years old.

Menu:

From 2-5 pm: Hors D'Ouevres
- Veggies & dip
- Fruit & dip
- Stuffed mushrooms
- Bruschetta
- Phyllo stuffed with feta & spinach, cream cheese & cranberry, mushrooms & caramelized onions
- Heirloom tomato salad
- Assorted cheeses and crackers
- Crab dip with home made pita chips

From 5-8 pm: Chili Bar (Vegetarian, Meat and White)
- Nacho chips
- Baked Potatoes
- Hot Dogs & Veggie Dogs
- French Fries
- Toppings - cheese, sour cream, green onions, jalapeno peppers

Sweet Table (all day)
- Egg Nog Cupcakes with cinnamon butter cream frosting
- Red Velvet Cupcakes with cream cheese frosting
- Spiced cupcakes with vanilla bean butter cream frosting
- Cake pops
- Peanut Butter, Oreo and Cookie Dough Truffles
- Cookies - Pumpkin & butterscotch, salted caramel macarons, rolo stuffed chocolate chip
- Smores on a Stick

Drinks:
- Hot Chocolate Bar
- Hot Apple Cider
- Sangria
- Non-alcoholic punch
- 2-3 beers
- One Red/One White wine

Too much? Not enough?? Recommendations???

It's exciting having a house large enough to entertain.

We are inviting the children to come in pajamas, and we having a "slumber party" with a Christmas movie, snacks and activities run by my 16 year old.

Awwww fun!!! We bought our house August and had our first big party last Christmas also it was so fun!
