It hurts my heart.

I just broke up with my boyfriend of a year,so its been an emotional week for me. DD was with her father for the week so I had time to move out of my exs house, focus on myself,school,and mending my broken heart a bit.I just got her back today and she kept asking where's my Eban(Evan my ex) I said he's at home baby and she started pouting saying I want to go home I miss my Eban. It was like my heart just got ripped out of my chest. She started crying when I said we couldnt go home and we had to stay at nana and poppis house. My little family and world just fell apart and DD being so upset about it makes it so much worse. I hate that this happened because I truly believed this was our forever. 

I'm sorry you have to go through this, but take comfort in knowing that it won't last forever. She won't miss him for long.

Thankfully she is only 2 1/2 and she will get over this,but it was just so upsetting.
