Crista!!!
She is being induced this morning at 7am!
(This is her directly speaking as to why she is being induced early) "I was diagnosed with cholestasis at 28 weeks pregnant this time. It's a liver problem that causes your body to not rid itself of the bile acids that the baby and I produce. And since baby relies on mom to rid the bile acids it builds up in the blood stream and the farther past 36 weeks you go it increases your risk for stillbirth by 60%. And since her last two bio physical profiles have not been perfect scores and she's showing signs of the cholestasis effecting her negatively it is time to get her out!"

First update 5am - Crista's induction time was moved to 7am.
Second update 8:40am- Crista is in the hospital hooked up the the monitors and the IV is started and the clindamycin has also been started. Pitocin has also been started.
Third update 9am- Crista's water has been broken and she's 3cm dilated!!!
Fourth update 10am- Epidural started! She is 3cm dilated and contracting every 4-6minutes!
Fifth update at 11:30am- She is 4cm dilated and 70% effaced!!
Sixth update at 1pm- She is hurting pretty bad. Aliana is pushing down on the balloon for the catheter. She was checked about 45 minutes ago and she was still 4cm and now 75% effaced. The doctor tried to stretch her but it hurt to much.
Seventh and FINAL update!!!! Aliana Sophia is here!
She is 5 pounds and 8 ounces 19 inches and was born at 1:18pm!! Baby and Mommy are doing great!!!! Crista said she really didn't give more than a little half push and she was born!
Aliana is doing great! They are just monitoring her blood sugars and she has taking to nursing like a champ!!!!
At 6:15pm Crista told me that they ran some labs on Aliana and everything has come back good!
