What do you think about this study?

I'll be honest, I dont know anyone other than Kieran offline that has autism. My support group is based online so I have no one to compare him to features wise. But, what you think?

Thats interesting. Just like how those who have Down Syndrome share similar features.

It makes me wanna go look at a girl in my class and see if she has this. But idk exactly what they mean.

I wonder how they would account for siblings that look extremely similar yet only one is autistic.

thats interesting my little brother has Autism but hes got a chubby face but the nose and that do look abit alike

I have no idea. It would blow that theory out, that vaccinations can cause autism though.

I call BS. DH has those facial features...and he's not autistic...Stupid...but not autistic. lol.

Interesting. That would seem to discredit an environmental cause, although it could still support a predisposition and trigger theory.

Yeah I know.... but some people still stick by it. lol. I never believed it anyway.

This is what I think happened with Kieran, I think he always had it but a reaction to MMR really brought it out and had him regress. The shot itself did not cause it though.

My cousin has autism and he has what they call a "Classic Fragile X complexion" but he doesn't have Fragile X. They tested him for it, and he doesn't have it. So technically he doesn't look like the typical autistic child, he looks like a child with Fragile X. (Which also causes Autism, but children with Fragile X actually have a specific look to them like Down syndrome kids do).
