posted 14th Oct
She will be 4 months this week and rarely goes on her tummy when i do it she freaks out after literally a min. I've tried proping her up bought a tummy mat and still hates it. Any advice?

Have you tired getting down with her face to face and distract her with toys. If that doesn't work then you could always try tummy time with her on your chest.

Yeah the mat i got is covered with toys and i get right in her face and she just can't stand it. Shell even bury her face and just cry i think its because she's so chubby its just uncomfortable.

Just try putting her on you. On your legs and tummy or whatever.
And I highly doubt it is because she is chubby. DS has always been big and never had a problem with tummy time, I think it is just how you approach it really.

Try sitting her up for now. My son hated it till around 4 months when he wanted to crawl. But he had his neck mucles from sitting up. And was gaining stumic muscles from his excersaucer. They don't have to do tummy time.

I would put DD on the edge of the bed on her tummy sometimes and sit on the floor in front of her so we were face to face.
