After your wedding, how long was it before you received your photos? If it was a disc, or your ordered photos.... or whatever...

typically it takes 2-6 months, it depends on how many shots were taken, what needs to be edited, now adays it is all digitalized so they have to burn the CDs and then you have to approve what you want printed for your album etc. but it is truly an exciting time and a great chance to look back at your day and bring back the memories!

I'm a photographer and I take my time. I warn my clients... So I'm just curious how long most others get theirs back. Theres times that I feel like I'm a let down when it comes to how long they have to wait - but I give a disc and give an exceptional amount of photos so I do what I have to do...
Just curious about average wait time.

It usually takes me a few weeks to a month or two. I hate doing weddings, and i hate editing wedding photos even more... so i tend to put it off.

I don't advertise for wedding photography tho, so thankfully, i don't get too many weddings per year. lol

i was told it would take 6-8 weeks but we ended up not getting them until almost 10 weeks. they were on discs and we were told we were getting prints but it would take another 2 weeks. our wedding was back in may and we never got the prints

Still have not gotten what we paid for.

So, 13 months and counting...  

i got my pics on a disk within a week of our wedding. I had a copyright agreement that i was able to do with the pictures what I wished so i just took the disks and printed them out for myself.   they werent super edited which is probably why i got them back so quickly.
