Maybe I'm a little emotional.

I don't know if I'm just emotional or if its alright that this made me sad but anyways, here it goes. This weekend DH and I were supposed to get free time together twice, two times we had a baby sitter. Now here it is, the weekends like over and we didn't get a baby sitter either time. The first time was Saturday, we were suppose to get a couple photoshoot that I was really looking forward to but DH ended up having to work. I was a little bummed of course but its fine. Then today we had planned on going hiking with some friends but I fell down some steps and hurt my hip and DH said he disnt feel like going anyways so we cancelled but He said we could still so something since we have a baby sitter already. We were trying to think of stuff to do and I suggested we just come home and have sex bc we hardly ever have sex with DS sleeping in our bed, or we do but it's a quickly before he wakes up or something. DH just laughed that off. Then I was like ok, what about shopping? He said no, we don't have the money. I suggested the movies, he said there wasn't anything playing that he wanted to see. We can't go eat bc we went out with his family after church already. I asked if he wanted to get dessert somewhere, he said no bc he's not hungry. So now we are at his parents house and they are playing with the kids so I thought, hey at least we will get some time to talk or something, just hang out but no. He's asleep.   I'm just... Sad I guess. I feel like he doesn't wanna spend any time with me. I was really looking forward to this weekend bc he works a lot and always go to bed early but here he is sleeping. I'm just upset about it and I feel lonely.   sorry if this was a big run on sentence and if theres tons of misspelled words. I'm on my iPod and don't feel like going back to correct things.

I feel exactly the same at the moment with my Fiancee.
He works a lot and so any free time he gets I want to spend doing things with him. Even if its just to walk through town and look at baby things hehe. but he never seems to want to do anything that I suggest or he tells me ''We can't afford it.'' Or he has his son for the weekends (who I love) but he can always find money to do things with him!
He won't even go out to see my parents because he hates sitting listening to my family talk about their dramas lol
But this weekend, one of his friends invited us to the beach house, so we went along and it was nice, I'l admit it, but I would have rather spent the weekend with him by myself, because next weekend we will have his son for the weekend and then he'l be back at work on monday and it will all start over again.

I say you should talk to him and tell him you wanted to spend time with him. Men need to be told when something has bothered us...but we women tend to want them to figure it out for themselves haha.. If he knows how much you want to spend time with him, then maybe he'l be able to plan something ahead of time and make it up to you  

Either that, or me and you can cry together   haha

I don't blame you i would feel that way too! makes me sad just hearing your story but i'm hormonal so whats new? lol hope everything gets better for you

More than likely we will end up crying together. Lol I tell him like every night that I want to spend some time with him. I like watching greys anatomy and he's liked it the few times he's watched it so when the new season started I was excited and he said we could watch it together so every Thursday I'm all happy, both kids will be asleep and we can just cuddle and watch the show but nope, he has fallen asleep every time an it comes on at 9. I mean, come on, that's not late. Then every Friday morning he asks me what happened on the show. :/

Yeah, I've tried talking to my fiancee but I end up just getting frustrated or sounds like I'm always whining! He thinks by being somewhere at the same time is spending time together...... jeeeesh.
Maybe its a male thing, my fiancee falls asleep on the couch before 9pm too!!
Its my birthday at the end of the month, so I'm putting my foot down and we are going to spend some quality time together before the chaos of christmas and baby arriving!

I hope you get some quality time together soon! Get tough and MAKE him spend time with you haha

See that's it, when I try to talk to him abou it I feel like I'm being dumb and whining so I just say forget it! Who knows when we'll be able to get a baby sitter again. :/ I hope you had a fun birthday!
