So unprepared!

I have 3 months before this baby comes and I have nothing! Well, I have a crib and mattress from when my DD was a baby but other then that and 3 diaper covers and 3 inserts that's all I have for my son. I'm so stressed. I'm convinced we won't have anything by the time he gets here. DD was in a home 'preschool' at my husbands friends wifes house and we just decided to pull her out so we can save the $500 a month and put that toward the baby and I found out I have to pay her $300 for pulling her out. It was in the contract so I know I have to pay it but it has me freaking the smurf out! I had forgotten how much it costs to have a baby and I hate feeling like it was a stupid choice to get pregnant. I feel like because we don't have anything we need that it means we are already smurffy parents to this baby. I hate these hormones.

Take a deep breath and calm down. A lot of the stuff you feel like you need you really don't. You have a place for baby to sleep, if you're breastfeeding you have something for baby to eat, and you have months to get more diapers.

I know how you feel... we were TTC and had money saved up and all that but smurf happens and we are now broke, helping out my dad and the baby has nothing (not even a crib yet)!

Get the immediately things you need for when the baby is born-1 month, then buy things monthly.


And remember, poor people have babies all the time and survive and actually do a good job. We have a saying in this country "A baby comes with bread and milk under each arm", it means that when the baby comes, things just work themselves out!

I here ya! Exspecially bc we have a girl now were having a boy.. so we NEED all the clothing... its soo expensive..first time around we had a shower so I didnt need to buy all those clothes!

i feels soo stressed too .i thought financially we were doing well then all of a sudden i dont know
this month were getting the car seat
next month i am getting the crib/mattress
i was hopeing id get more help from my mom since my sister just had another baby and they bought her sooooo much stuff crib cclothes swing et ( she already has a son) but i guess they arent helping us out
on top of that i owe another 250 for my daughters dance class and recitel costumes

i havebeen thinking of pulling abby out of preschool to but she LOVES it
