When you post in a public forum, you get both sides. You don't get to pick what people say. They will give their honest opinions whether you like it or not


And btw, any post about trying to get your baby out early is going to get STRONG opinions against it. And for good reason.

Maybe, just maybe people should SEARCH and do research before posting these stupid ass posts that members have seen questioned many times before. You come on here looking for advice, well your going to get it and it may not always be pleasant. GET OVER IT!

i'm only a first time mom but i feel like i've been well educated on everything and breathed a sigh of relief when my midwife said she won't consider inducing until i'm 10 days past due. i want my baby baking until she's ready so as long as she doesn't decide to take up permanent residence, i'm ok

I did go overdue, and I wasn't dumb enough to try and make him come early. He obviously just wanted more time to make his grand entrance because he wasn't ready...the only things I did was walk, yoga ball and sex. Which I knew wouldn't work either lol.

You need to go to the preemie page and look up preemies. All those moms would give anything in this world to go full term. Your baby will come when it wants to. Castor oil seems funny to everyone .."oh your going to poop everywhere blah blah" Its not funny its serious you will harm your baby with it. I went two in a half weeks over due i was miserable but going to the hospital to see my nephew everyweek when he was born at 27 weeks to watched his mom cry when we left the nicu was hard. he was 2 lb and in the hospital for months.Do you know when there in the nicu you could only hold them for a certain time? Most of the time you wont ever be the mom to give your child their first bath and feed them the first time rock them or change their diaper.And when they admit another baby you wont be able to see your child that day.. I think again about making that baby come early.

37 weeks is not full term, it's term. And if she goes into labor naturally and wants to progress labor that's different, she has no signs of labor and is wanting to start labor...that's why people aren't being all warm and fuzzy. I simply told her not to do it. Everyone else is entitled to their opinion, they may not seem "nice" to some people but it's how they feel. I personally would love to HAVE to be induced PAST my DUE DATE because i've had a son born at 35 weeks and it's not fun to have a baby that's not ready to face the world yet.

talk to you doctor...if they feel your good to go they will sweep your membranes and that can get the delivery started....but i would definetly talk with your OB. Hope it all works out...I am sure its not comfortable but just think of the joy of that LO in your arms!

3 weeks left?? isit really that long? just think someone i know cant carry babys full term and would love to have what all of us have or has had and your moaning about it. you got pragas and nobody told you it would be easy.

ok im just going to some it all up for everyone... i havent said anything to anyone about any of this in hours... i asked a simple question an u are absolutly right! people have their own opinions but that does not mean they have to get ridiculously rude about it!! first off i have ben to the hospital 3 times within the last month an stayed over night due to contractions ( the real thing) i was already in early labor to begin with. they gave me shots to stop it! i went bk to the dr two weeks later and my dr told me that he might induce me because im so tiny. i didnt want to have a csection because then it really was to early so i told him to wait....so actually my dr was going to induce me anyway, but i said wait. now that im closer to my due dat i was looking for a natural way to induce instead of the medical way. For the people that gave me positve feed bk i apreciate it and i neves said in the first place that i was going to do!! i considered it yes an i already had read up on it before i came on here to see what other people thought! jus like some of yall said, its your opinion... i dont have a problem with opinion, i have a pproblem with the amout of rudeness that i got from a question.

awww poor baby that you have been in the hospital a few times for contractions, try being in the hospital at least once weekly since 17 weeks with contractions, try praying to God every night just for you to make it far enough for your baby to live on the outside, try practically living in a hospital everyday for 3 months straight, because thats where your baby is fighting for their life, once you have experienced all that, then you can bitch, until then, suck it up, its pregnancy, its not supposed to be fun.

the only reason honestly that you should be taking anything like that is to help you poop it wont help the baby come out

and i am sorry for the everything you have went through i have went through something similar hope everything is all well with you baby well being
