Oh MAN we're both tired. But he still found energy to proposition me for sex last night. Good thing I took time to get the curtains up in our room.  

I'm taking pics of the house once I get it straight. We made it all fit, I just have to put things in their place now.

And I SO love my hair! I can use clips and hold the front back while I clean, and it still looks nice.

Okay! I'm free during the day, then loading up on groceries when SO gets some. I'm ready for a day where I don't have to do anything! Random question: Have you played Batman: Arkham City yet? If not, I totally suggest it. It's a HUGE game which we didn't except and it's pretty beautiful. Even going from cut scenes back to game play is suuuper smooth.

SO has played it! I haven't had a chance... I get wrapped up in other stuff then when SO gets home he commandeers the Xbox for his Black Ops 2.   I haven't even finished FF XIII yet...

SO never lets me play either. I played his game for a second this morning just to see how the gameplay is. I honestly can't wait for the new Fallout! I LOOOOOVE Fallout!

I got MOST of Rayne's wrapped. And I got SO's gift disguised and made all heavy and wrapped. It's a hat, so I have to make it heavy so he's confused on Christmas.   He's been wanting a Dallas Cowboys hat for AGES. DD's kitchen set was a total pain in the ass to wrap though... >.>

I've got some things for DD that are gonna be a pain to wrap. We're not getting gifts for each other this year. Can't afford it.

SO got a surprisingly good check this week... so he got me something. Then I felt bad, and went to get HIM something, because I'd have felt like a smurf on Christmas morning if I didn't give him something.

The 25th. Christmas Eve is the 24th, of course.   We're not even hardly surviving on what SO makes. I can't find a job, and we found out yesterday that SO is getting laid off after Christmas. I'm freaking the smurf out.

OMG... Can he start looking for a different job now? Like, go out after work for somewhere small? SO used to work at Jiffy Lube for a little bit, they'll literally take almost anyone, and they train them... they don't pay worth a smurf but it's SOMETHING...

By the time SO is off, everything is closed usually. He heard about something that would benefit his career path he's taking, but by the time he'd get off HR at the hospital would be gone. And they're closed on the weekends when he's off. I've been looking for MONTHS. I have a feeling that he will be looking as long as I am. I have managerial experience in retail and have restaurant experience, have medical terminology training.. I've got lots of experience under my belt and GREAT references. The job market in our area SUCKS. It doesn't help that we live in the middle of no-smurfing-where. We drive about 2 hours to go to school. It takes us at least an hour to get to town (and town is a po-dunk town with 3 fast food restaurants, lots of gas stations, and a walmart).

Have you thought of moving somewhere else?? Maybe staying with family in a bigger town until you find work, then go ahead and get your own place again?? It sounds like your area just has really smurffy job markets...

  I hope he finds something hun... I remember when SO was out of work when we were in FL for 2 weeks, and it was absolutely nerve wracking...
