See, I'm torn. I love that look but I've been growing my hair for over a year now... and I've made some serious progress. But I like the thought of it being easy to care for... I wonder how short it'd have to be so that I wouldn't need to use the straightening iron... I have super curly hair unless I do that.

Mine is crazy and bushy all the time. I'm growing mine out super long again. I missed pony tails. hahah.

Yeah mine's not bushy, just curly and frizzy when it's humid out.   I'm thinking I may go with something similar to what you had! I just need to figure out exactly one would go about styling that. lol

All I did was straighten the front and sides and used styling putty in the back to make it messy if I wanted to or I just left it be (those were the days I wasn't doing anything). And it took maybe 5 minutes tops to dry as opposed to my 30-45 minute drying now. It was easy as pie to take care of.

Yeah, I need mine thinned out with the thinning shears if I'm going to copy that style, lol. Mine's pretty freaking thick. That's my issue with it now, the thick parts grew out.

I think I may get layers cut into it if I get the style you had.

I did. Mine to super thick, too. Of course the back is so short that you won't need the shears back there, but definitely on the sides or it'll look weird. I had to get mine thinned pretty much all the way down on the sides. I had bangs (side swept) with that cut, too, but I think I had them pinned back in the picture.

Oh WOW is the back THAT short?? Like, it can be spiked up it's so short, right??

That's gonna be weird for me, LMAO. I've gotten used to having fairly long hair all over my head. But I think I'll prefer only needing 10 min to fix my hair, rather than 10 clips to hold it up and 10 minutes of straightening.

Yeah, the back is SHORT! It laid down but it was short like a man's cut that could be spiked up. I cut it after the break-up (he cheated on me) of my first REAL relationship. Dated for two years, found out he cheated on me for a year and a half... so I changed EVERYTHING that he liked. I was a red-head, went blonde, had long hair and cut it short.. lost weight.. It was quite the transformation.

I bet it looks great!   When you have thick hair and get a short cut, your head feels ten times lighter! It's amazing! haha. I might not be on much today. I'm fixing to drop Em off at my mom's. It's my birthday and we've got Zach's work's Christmas party tonight and my birthday celebration after that and I've still got to manage to clean the house today..
