re: Fcking APPLEBEE'S as a first date??

Dates should NEVER have to be expensive. Hell, I've been with SO for 3 years, and the most we've spent on a date was 60 bucks, not counting tip. If you're with someone you care about at all, then money and the price doesn't mean smurf, it's the thought that counts. OP's a materialistic bitch.

They do not have to be but husband and wife going to a nice 5 star restaraunt on an anniversary or honeymoon, vacay w/e stuff like that is awesome...

but on a typical date lol no, no date has to be expenisive but it's nice to go somewhere really nice to celebrate special occasions love that with my hubby

I celebrate special occasions with my SO, who is a long term relationship that we may never get made official with a wedding certificate, by going to our favorite mexican or japanese restaurant, and spending time together. Hell, we usually even bring the booger butt.

It's never how much you spend, but the thought and love that goes into it that counts. A homemade candlelight dinner from home is just as romantic as a 200 dollar meal.

You can go out without breaking the bank every time. We go to our favorite mexican place, and spend 40 bucks. We go to our favorite japanese place and spend 50. And we go to those places for special occasions. Not spending an assload of cash is not being forced in the house...   We go out and spend time as a family every weekend. When you live on a budget, you find other ways to show you care about each other that don't cost money.

Obviously, not literally. OP was expecting a super high class, 50 bucks a plate place apparently though, and that's NOT what a date is supposed to be about.

Yeah I know I agreed with that... was just talking about husband and wife special moments personally

the op is a gold digger with two kids... youd think she would be alil more down to earth being that I am sure she does not have much money herself

Only an smurf would judge a woman based on having children. I mean, seriously... having kids before marriage, or having kids in a marriage and getting a divorce, is not a crime and doesn't make a woman bad.

OP's still a money grubbing gold digger, but I hate when people throw out the "Men won't go for a woman with kids" line. It's often untrue. If there's a real connection, then the amount of kids won't matter.

Amen. This thread made me want to vomit. I never, ever expected a date to be expensive. And I would be thrilled if I could go to Applebees.   It means I wouldn't have to cook.

IKR?? Smurf, I love going to Applebees! It means my stove stays clean and I don't have dishes to do after dinner!!

Yes! I hate dishes a hell of a lot more than I hate cooking.   And SO hates to do them, too, so I normally get stuck with both jobs. At least when he cooks, I do the dishes.
I digress, dating shouldn't be about where you're going, but who you're with. If you're thinking that high class is a priority, you seriously need to wake up. Hardly anybody in our age bracket (19 to, say... 26) can afford that smurf. Especially with kids.
