re: Fcking APPLEBEE'S as a first date??

I dislike Applebees, but the point of a date is to be together and learn more about each other.   I'd be okay with a date at the park.

I'm pretty sure had he known that she didn't like Applebee's, he would have taken her somewhere else. She could have easily opened her mouth before going in. Instead, she decided to sit through it, eat, and thank him afterwards.

See I'm not a Cheesecake Factory, Arby's, TGI's or whatever fan, it's just not my thing or how we eat, but I think the problem here is not the choice of restaurant, but the attitude emitted.

Sometimes, you just have to be grateful for what you get, end of story. An ex of mine and I went and had snacks and cocktails at TGI on our first date.. no big deal, it was what was in the neighbourhood, he was a pilot and didn't come into the city with much notice, so he didn't have time to plan and neither did I. I went out, possibly a tad over-dressed (I dress for the person, not the occasion) and still had a great time. The food was again, not what I'd ideally eat, but I picked what looked best off the menu, and enjoyed the conversation.
