Cold weather meals

What are some of your favorite dinners for those cold evenings? Looking for some new ideas...back to food gawker I go.

homemade mac and cheese! and homemade french onion soup, bread and cheese on top

shepherds pie
chicken pot pie

I make the bomb ass pot roast, kitchen sink chili, chicken and dumplings in the crock pot or CHEESY chicken lasagna which is the new family FAV

Stuffed pepper soup

spagetti and meatballs
baked ziti
chicken and brocolli soup

We normally have potato soup, chicken soup or dumplings, chicken pie, chili, beef stew....but I think we're burned out on those things for a while.

I really want to make a cottage/shepherds pie. But dh is so weirded out by it   he eats what I make though so   gives me kind of a pass to make things I know he might not think that he likes

Crock pot cheese cappelletti, chicken shrimp and sausage gumbo ,cheddar broccoli casserole ,cabbage roll casserole , chilli in a bread bowl, shepards pie

Chilli,homemaid chicken noodle soup,gumbo, junk pot(meat and seafood)

is my #1 favorite cold weather recipe! (although i use more regular onions and no pearl onions since DH doesn't like their sweetness)

Besides the food...hot cocoa, tea, & coffee are sooo good during the cold months.
