haaaalp.

SO got his tongue pierced tonight... and he's hungry, but we can't find anything soft enough that he can eat. His tongue is VERY swollen because the guy had to pierce it twice.

I made hamburger helper... thinking the noodles would be soft enough for him, negative   So now he's looking all pathetic eating his pudding cup.........   He's warming up some mac and cheese, but I don't think it'll be any different than Hamburger Helper. What's something FILLING he can eat? My tongue wasn't nearly as swollen... I ate a cheeseburger the same night   So other than soup... I'm clueless.

A ton of mashed potatoes? Lol

Mmm...ice cream? lol yogurt? There's not much that will be filling that he'll be able to stand to eat until the swelling goes down, I had a lisp for 3 days when I got mine. Not fun...ice saved my ass

We did, lol. We went out to eat at like... 4. Then he got his tongue done at like 9? And now it's 5am, lol. We're night owls... we work night shift so right now is usually our dinner time. And he was hungry. but the mac and cheese worked!

He's so scared to try to talk normally. I told him he needs to... so that he works his tongue muscles. He's gonna have a lisp for a few days, but it's better than sounding like he has cotton balls in his cheeks

I lived on soup and ice cream for the first two days and that helped. Tell him to be careful if he tries anything that needs chewing though, I had chips the first day and bit my bar by accident, ouch
