Quoting Jamie ♥ it's a BOY!:" Who is 'they'? Everyone who used pitocin when it wasn't "medically" neccesary? If I could go back knowing ... [snip!] ... I could go back knowing what I know now, yeah I wouldn't be induced. Am I bitter about it and feel stupid deep down? No.....  "

you shouldn't feel stupid about it. I don't. I feel smurffy that I had such a bad birth experience, I'd change it, but it isn't anything to feel dumb about IMO. some of us actually trust/trusted our doctors. I won't personally be doing that anymore, although I know a lot of people are fine w/ their doctor *shrug*

I'm not bitter ... concerned that she posted this in teen pregnancy with the obviously plan to scare these girls into not choosing pitocin no matter the reason.

"Like I said ladies, if you had read the whole thing, I listed reasons where it is considered medically necessary to use Pitocin, which is most of the reason y'all are saying"

I think you guys just saw her as an easy target, I didn't see anything that suggested she was trying to scare everyone away from using pitocin ever again for any reason. She clearly stated the opposite.

Her OP said nothing about medically necessary inductions ... nothing ... instead she was urging people to do it like pioneer women. So unless she gives birth in a field, on her own, while her husband scares off coyotes with a musket I'm calling bullsmurf on her earth momma attitude.

Uh okay?   Idk why you keep saying "earth momma" like she claimed the title and isn't letting go.

eh because honestly a) that's what we call people who are incredibly passionate about unassisted births and a heap of other things (like hemp clothing, EBF passed 3, and stuff like that) around the people I know .., and b) its just an adjective and I can't think of another one right now.

Guess my Cholestasis and rising bile levels in my blood were just my doctor trying to make me fit into his schedule.

Sneaky bastard.

Yep, selfish little me. Induced 2 days before my due date to prevent death/serious illness of my unborn. I should be more like you!

Mine was, I needed special medicine and platelets as back up and I needed to be closely monitored because of my bleeding disorder, I could of bled to death if I went into labor on my own and none of the medicine was there and if my own doctor didn't take care of me, my medical condition could of been misunderstood if another doctor did it who was not fully aware of my medical problems.
