How do I find out my day of conception?
posted 14th Oct
I see a lot of people on here stating the day they conceived. I did not even think it would be possible to get it down to the exact day, but I would like to know the general date. Do you just count back 40 weeks from your perspective due date? How does that work?

Ask your baby
But in all seriousness you can never KNOW unless it was ivf.. but there are conception calculators you can google that will tell you approximate dates.

If you count back 40 weeks that will give you your LMP.
Typically its 2 weeks after your period (depending on when you ovulated)

well i knew from when i ovulated, and i knew when i had sex with him, had a pretty good idea of when i must have conceived from when i got the first bfp, given that i was taking tests every day from paranoia, and then when i got my first sonagram i counted back on the calender, i "should have been"(according to af) 7w3d, but she was measuring 6w6d and that early its pretty accurate, put 6'6 at 7'3 and came up with the day after ovulation. i know thats kind of convoluted, but thats how i figured it almost exactly.

I had an app on my phone that tracked my periods and stuff. It told me when I ovulated and everything and since I was able to tell the exact dates I was on my period and exact dates we did it, I was also able to tell the exact day we concieved.
