And thank you for the link. I'm going to fill out the application now. I'm very proud of myself for standing up to him. I've been so submissive to him for a year and he always thinks he has this power over me now. But not anymore.  

I hope work picks up soon too. Its not easy especially since it only pays minimum wage. But I make it work so my son is taken care.

I know my son doesn't need the jumper. And he didn't get it. The woman sold it to someone else since I didn't have any money to spare.
The whole thing wasn't so much about the jumper as it was about the fact that he thinks its okay to go weeks without helping while he hits the bars and buys a bunch of drugs.
He's done it many times to me. Promises to help and then doesn't talk to me till he wants to see his son again.
I just wish he would follow through with what he says...

Does he see his son?

My sons dad hasnt paid a dime of childsupport in 3 years. He would ather sit the time in jail then help out.. he also doesnt see him because he was found abusive and not stable enough to take care of him. Good Job on standing up to him and going for child support
