When will it go away?

I have been on monastat 3 for three days and a doctor prescribed medication that only had three pills for my yeast infection and I still have nasty racotta cheese (tmi!!!!) discharge and the itches like a mad woman. I thought it would be gone by now. Any ideas of when it will get up and leave this joint! Help?!

In my experience, Monistat alone never cured the infection. I had to couple it with Acidophilus tablets. Try that.

When I've had one they gave me a one pill treatment that took care of it. Maybe ask them for this?

Monistat can take up to 7 days to take full effect.

No OTC medication works for me.

I use unsweetened, unflavored plain yogurt as a "suppository" and it takes the itching and pain away in a day.

Omg, I did this once and it was soooo soothing!

Monistat doesn't work for me my doctor prescribed me a pill I believe called diflucan and that helped within two days and its just one pill you take once I would talk to your doctor about taking that.

Hahah. It's super cold at first, but it works. I'd always use a tampon to hold it in and it worked so much quicker than over the counter medicine and was much cheaper.....Not to mention, all natural! The concept seems funny, but....Smurf works!

That's what I have now and I just took day three of the three day thing and it's cleared it a tad but i still have the gross stuff going on down there

Good idea! Maybe I'll try that and give the doc a call because up here you have to wait weeks to get into the doctor

Yes! Definitely try it. Google it and read up on the different techniques and whatnot, but..Definitely try it. What could it hurt?

Mine must be something else then cause when I got mine there was only one tablet and I took it once. Mine wasn't three days...hmmm....I am pretty certain though it was called diflucan. I wonder why you you would have three tablets though cause I had what you have.
