Born at 33 wks, and is now 8 weeks old and is colic probably

So I had my beautiful daughter on Aug 20, 4 lbs 14 oz. She's now just over 9 lbs, gaining well. She's feeding just fine, but my frustration now is this colic. We're not 100% sure she's colic, but we're like 98% sure.. At least I am. My husband is very close to deciding.
We've tried car rides, I have a baby carrier I just tried tonight that worked for about 20 min or so..
I guess what I am asking for is either your stories and/or advice for colic babies. I keep reading and hearing that it's a phase and will end eventually.. but it's still about coping in the meantime. =o]

Yes it is a phase DD has finally grown out of it (she's 3 months old). But I understand how frustrating it is. All you can really do is try to comfort them and let them go through their fit. I read online that Colic usually only makes them fussy for a few minutes then they will stop and start up again later. I know this isn't what you want to hear but there really isn't much you can do but be there for her. Good Luck!!

EDIT: My DD pedi said to use gassy drops but after reading several stories about babies that stopped breath I stopped using it. Plus it made DD sleep bad at night.

I had preemie twins 30 weekers. Ben got colic. His pedi told us to give him Biogaia. They sell it at walgreens. You have to ask for it in the pharmacy but you can get it without a script. It's the infant dops. After a few days we saw a difference and after a week it was almost gone. I swear by the stuff! Hang in there momma

Congrats on your little one and glad she's doing well...aside from this.
I'm sorry y'all are going through this
She's probably having trouble transitioning from wake to sleep. Trying Kangarooing her like when she was in the hospital, use white noise, baby massage or swaddling may help.

I used a vacuum cleaner for my LO when he was little - it was the only thing that soothed him. I tried gas drops, swaddlers, everything. The only thing that would soothe him was a running vacuum. By the time he grew out of that stage - I had really clean carpet. If you don`t run the vacuum over the carpet - you`ll burn up the belt.

colic is mean! lol, my son had it till he was about 4 months old, very difficult, and makes you wanna get your tubes tied asap!! lol. but, it will pass! i promise. these days of pulling your hair out will subside. i dont have any advice of how to make it stop, never found anything that worked. i did recuit help, from mamaw, papaw, and daddy, to give me quiet breaks. when i was home during the day with him, and he had been crying for an hour or so straite, i would give him a kiss, and lay him in the crib for a few minutes so i could step in another room and hear myself think. your not alone, and it does get better!!

Poor baby
Could it be sensitivity to dairy? I thought for sure my LO has colic until I stopped all dairy and he became the most chill baby ever.

If she's formula fed buy Dr browns bottles, my DS had colic for 6 weeks and my mums workmate told her about them. We bought some that day and he was instantly a different baby after his first feed! Also try putting a pillow under the mattress of her cot (at the head end) just so she's propped up slightly, it'll help shift the bubbles up and out x make sure you get a break every now and again too, colic is hard on baby but it can be so mentally and emotionally exhausting for you! Good luck, I hope she improves soon x
