Is it possible??? ****

My best friend was 5-6 weeks pregnant when she started bleeding alot and at once, she soaked through 2 pads and was passing clots......she was sure she was miscarrying and was scared and crying. That night she went to the emergency room and they did a ultrasound and the baby in there was just fine, healthy heart beat and all.
She asked if it was possible that maybe she was pregnant with twins and one miscarried? The doctor said that that is not impossible but doubt that is what happened....she thinks my friend was just over exaggerating.
She is still now 15 weeks pregnant and everything looks wonderful and the baby is growing just fine.

Could that have happened?

yes it could have. its very possible. that was on i didnt know i was pregnant too lol. a lady had a "miscarriage" and she didnt know there was twins and she didnt even go in for a dnc or any aftercare and ended up not knowing she was pregnant up until labor. she was pregnant with twins is waht the doctor said on the tv. lol i know those shows MIGHT be fake but im sure its very possible.

because I know her, she would not over exaggerate and her husband would not either. I truly do believe she bled alot...she bombed my cell phone but i put my phone on silent when im sleeping so i never answered. I think that is what happened too....now they say her sack is very large too. But everything seems fine and the little one in there seems very healthy.

Yes, definitely possible.

It happened to me with my most recent baby. I had to wait 2 whole weeks before they could get me in for a scan. LOTS of blood, I was sure I had miscarried because of it and also my morning sickness stopped for a week but started back up again. I thought I was going mental. When I went in for the scan to confirm that I had passed everything, we found 2 sacs and 1 healthy baby. The other sac looked obviously deformed and dissaperared completely over the next couple of months.
This could have happened to your friend too, but if they saw no evidence of another sac, it could have been random heavy bleeding.

A nurse told me when I was preggo with my 1st, that she had a miscarriage (pass the clot, bleeding, etc) and later on felt like she was still preggo.....she was. She miscarried 1 baby and the other was fine!
