Clay recipes!

Does anyone have any good bake free clay recipes? My 3rd grader has to make a mountain for a school project!

does it have to be made out of clay?
How about paper mache?

It doesn't HAVE to be made out of clay, it can be made of anything really, but paper mache seemed like more work than clay.

paper mache is just watered down glue, and you dip strips of newspaper in it.
The link I posted uses an empty milk jug, surrounded by balled up newspaper, and tape to hold the shape.
