baby's room?
posted 13th Oct
So im pregnant with my 3rd baby. With my other 2 I kept them in the room with me because I wanted to be as close a possible just in case. Now that im having my 3rd im starting to wonder if I ahould make a nursery for her/him. Who did a nursery for their LO and did you like it? Thought, opinions, experiences please

I did have a babys room, but i always kept my kids in a bassinet beside me for the first few months then moved them to their cribs in their own rooms.

My daughter is 4 months and sleeps in the pack n play next to my bed i was hoping i could wait to get the crib out because we will be moving next year but i think im going to end up getting it out soon and that as well will go in our room. My son is 3 so i dont want the baby waking him up in the middle of the night.

Of course my kids had rooms. They slept in our room in a bassinet for a few months, and then moved to their own rooms.

DS was in a bassinet in our room for 2 months... Then he started breaking the swaddle and banging the sides which woke him up... So we moved him to his crib. He slept much better in there all stretched out.

My older 2 boys had their own rooms, but slept with me in my room until they were 4 months old. My youngest stayed in my room with me until he was 5 1/2 months. Then we moved and all 3 had to share a room together, which sucked. Now my older 2 share a room and my youngest has his own room.

with my 2 oldest they stayed in our room
but our LO has always had her own room. We were living with family when we had her and my MIL gave her their 2nd spare room. Now that we have our own place she's always had her own room we painted it pink and brown and it has almost all her stuff in it (except for some toys in the living room) so yeah I guess she has a nursery although I've never called it that lol.

this time we may or may not be in a 3 bedroom apartment. If we are, the baby will be with us. I plan on having my SIL make the bedding and just getting wall decals and making decorations to jazz up his/her corner.
