What is your favorite breed of dog?

So I want to get a puppy for my family, a male because my husband refuses to have a female which annoys me because there are three guys in the house and only me as far as females go but meh what ever I want a dog so I'll deal. Problem is I don't know what kind I want, I would love to adopt a rescue dog but the problem with that is that my husband doesn't want a dog he wants a puppy or a young one at least because well it's less likely that they will be set in there ways and we can train the dog that and we have a three month old and some older dogs have issues with kids much less babies and I can't find a single dog under the age of three at the pound near me.

Anywho what is your favorite breed of dog?

We love boxers.

Golden Retriever, or a mutt.

We have two shihpoos they are great with kids and non allergenic they are actually father and son would trade them for anything

I have a fourche terrier & he's my baby. I never liked little dogs until I met him.


We also had a black lab, which died in Sept 2011. He was 12 & was a wonderful dog.

Standard poodles are suppose to be really really good with babies/children.

We have a husky and she is amazing! We plan to get another one a year or so from now.

My 2nd fave breed is an aussie shepard in the blue merle coat. But you need to be careful with breeders when it comes to merle. You want to make sure their eyes and hearing is certified free of defects.

I can't do a shar pei they really freak me out. When I was like 10 I was attacked by one my whole right leg is covered in scars from where it grabed me with its teeth. Thank god my uncles wolf was there, he saved my life. Too bad wolves are illegal to own, that and while he was great I know a wolf is a wild animal not a pet.
