Baby Movement

posted 13th Oct
I am 18 weeks along and feeling pretty good. But i have not felt our baby move yet and that worries me a little bit. Should i be worried or am i just nervous. This is my first child and i am always on alert as to what is going on with my body and baby. I might just be over thinking things which i hope i am....

I felt my little girl from 15 weeks but that is very early - women don't usually feel anything until 20+ weeks so don't worry.

I didn't feel mine till about 21 weeks. Don't worry until after 22 weeks, it may just be position of your placenta.

It's normal, I didn't feel my little man until I was about 23 weeks, and constant movement at about 25 weeks.

i only started feeling my baby move around 17/18 weeks... and even then, it was usually only when I was sitting on the couch doing nothing. You're totally normal. Every pregnancy is different, so don't get worried or discouraged when you hear women talk about feeling their baby move at 13 weeks.

alot of factors determine when you will feel your baby move your weight the thinner you are/were the easier to feel baby where the placenta is if it is positioned in the back you feel more than if its toward the front since its your first you may just not be recognising the movement the baby may just be choosing to move while you sleep and its not enough to wake you yet be thankful it isnt waking you and some babies are quieter than others i have had 2 that were real quiet and 3 accrobats this baby has been somewhere in the middle so dont worry stressing is bad for both you and baby

I'm almost 20 weeks with baby 2 and just barley started feeling movements that I knew it was the baby. I felt weird fitters around 16 weeks but still didn't know for sure if it was baby.
