3.5 year old with broken middle finger

Doctor is sending us to ER. If you had a little tot with broken finger what did they do?

I'm sure they'll reduce it if it's out of place and then splint it. Poor thing's going to be really annoyed for a month or two!!

It's better than her thumb or pointer finger though!!!

They will normally splint it and then have you go to an orthopedic doctor. How did she break it?
