Hi ladies, i had a c section a few days ago and my feet and ankles are HUGE! i think it's from all the fluids they pumped in me....Did this happen to anyone else after having a baby? If so how long did it last and any tips on how to cope? It hurts to walk

I have never heard of this but I have nevr had a csection either. Do you have hypertension/high bp? If not call your dr imo.

I was so swollen before my c section, and after it my swelling went down. It was like magic.

I wasn't swollen after mine, BUT my SIL had a vaginal birth and was VERY swollen of all the fluids they pumped into her (had a 48 hr induction and had seriously like 12+ bags of fluid)

i was super swollen after my c section. i was in labour for 42 hours and had a failed induction so i went through alot of iv bags and thats what caused it i think. but i was swollen for about a week after i was swollen everywhere but especially my hand and ankles and feet

I went thru the same thing, i think its just from all the fluid intake...sure wish it would make its way out asap!

Yes I was very swollen after my c-section. Check with your OB, mine put me on water pills and watch out for any signs of blood clots. I just kept my feet up and cool towels to try and bring down the swelling. I know how you feel and I promise it will go away I think mine took a few weeks after I started the pills.
