18 and pregnant..

posted 12th Oct
I'm 18 and 15 weeks pregnant...I'm scared to death! I know I can get through it but it's just so scary but very exciting at the same time. Any advice?

I had my first at 18, it's been a long tough road. Just try to take it one day at a time.

just try to prepare yourself...even tho its impossible since you don't know what to expect til the baby is actually here. It's a BIG change. The first weeks can be very tough...just cuddle your baby, you'll get through it. This quote always makes things easier when i'm having a rough time
"You are not managing an inconvenience, but raising a human being" lol...corny..but it helps me when my son is having a cranky day or what not. If you have friends..try to stay in touch with them..because being a mom can get LONELY.

I had my first two weeks before turning nineteen and I was scared smurfless throughout the entire pregnancy. It was hard at first, especially since my husband and I were poor as dirt, but we've made it and I wouldn't change it now.
My best advice is to find a way to stay in school. My husband and I both finished at least one degree and we took advantage of the fact that the nearest college offered online classes.
Good luck!
