Couple questions on abortion, please keep it civil ladies, Just interested in what your thoughts are

1) pro lifers who believe life begins at fertilization and the embryo has the right to life at this point-
Do you believe that invitro fertilization should be legal?

2) For pro lifers that believe God has a plan- Does a woman that chooses to abort ruin Gods plan? Or is it Gods plan that she would come to end the life?

Why wouldn't they believe IVF should be legal? They are all about poppin' out babies.

Because it's "playing God."

I think she is going against God, but I am not innocent. I do not believe in abortions, but I have done my fair share of sins. I worry about my own. Murder is not one of them though lol

Many of them are very misinformed about the IVF process. Part of the concern is that "leftover" embryos are often discarded or donated to science. That's an understandable concern for a prolifer but it's not enough to outlaw IVF since embryos can be and are frequently donated for adoption.

The other reason they are oh so concerned is because they believe the actual process of IVF kills embryos. That's not true. Embryos created via IVF suffer the same attrition as those created naturally but 90% of the time the woman has no idea.

Interesting. I don't know much about IVF, truthfully.

not every fertalized egg aka embryo gets implanted.. some are just disposed of.. aka killed or "murdered" just like abortion...or well maybe how some prolifers proceive abortion

Women who've had abortions are not murderers..

God basically said "I knew you before you were born" so people say that the baby is alive. However, he also "breathed life into adam" So Adam wasn't alive until he breathed.....


I believe that a fetus is alive in the sense that a parasite is alive... but I do not believe they have a soul until they breathe.


No science there though, since it's a religion thing.

What I don't get is that if an embryo is transferred and doesn't implant, that's called murder. It's also murder for embryos to arrest before the 5th day (most of them do). How is that any different than a woman who tries to conceive for months and even years? Or in her case since she's Quiverfull, refrains from using birth control. The same smurf is still happening, you just can't see it.

She calls it "committing IVF" lmao.

She is a sad, sad woman filled with hate and looking for any excuse to bash anything that is not written explicitly in the Bible.

In my eyes its just a legal form of murder, just like the death penalty. I have friends who had abortions. They are still my friends. Like I said I have my own sins to ask for forgiveness. What others do is their business.
