You can't know you are right. What if when you die, you find out that everyone who doesn't practice ahishma gets eternal suffering? What if the hindus are right?

What if they aren't? I try not to waste my worries on "what ifs". We won't know until we die, and by then it won't matter. Right now, right this second, what I believe is right to me.

I used to be pro-life to the extreme. I can argue that side of it pretty well. Now, I'm not pro-abortion but I have come to recognize its value in society. I'm also anti death penalty.

I'm anti-IVF because I feel like it is toying with human life, something I do not believe is right.... But I've seen the precious babies who are born from it and really can't find fault in those who employ the method.... I get why ppl would want to do it.

Because they take eggs and sperm and make baby seeds, so to speak. They either put them in a woman, freeze them (potential humans frozen in time), throw the extras away or donate them to science. Even though they need the proper environment to grow, and often don't implant when given the opportunity, they're still genetically distinct human entities. I couldn't in good conscious do it, but I see the need for it.

I fully respect your opinion on this, just wanted to clarify that the embryos are also very often donated for adoption. I have quite a few embryos and I intend for them all to be given a chance at life.
