Just curious...

I am so mad about something and I want to hear everyone's opinions and rules on this.
When is the latest you would want business calls?
When is the latest you would want friends to call?
When is the latest you would want family to call?
Don't base if off what i say or others on here, I want to know your thoughts.... Mine are
Business no later then 9pm because we have family time aka bath, books and bed.
Friends/family no later then 10pm Just because we like to wind down.
Emergencies anytime.
Reason I am mad.....Almost EVERY night my husband's and my phone has been ringing or been texted all the way to midnight!!! For business. My family and friends usually don't call late so it isn't them. But in case of emergencies we don't silence/ turn off our phones. We have three kids and we need to be there for them and not have a phone to our ear constantly. Plus we are weeks away from a new one. We need our rest and he will be co-sleeping so I don't want him woke up from this all. Anyways I just want to know your phone rules. Thanks.

My husband's phone has to be on 24/7. He has to be available immediately if there is an emergency on campus, it beeps all night long with his employees checking in. It drives me nuts, but I can't change it.
As for anything else, I don't like calls that aren't necessary after 7pm...but really, I'm not a big phone person in general.

Business- 6-7 (later depending on the business), Friends- 8, Family- 9, unless it is an emergency. But I wouldn't mind if friends or family texted after those hours, or texted and asked if they you mind if they gave you a call.

Honestly, if anyone calls my house (except emergencies) past 9 I get annoyed. I'm the only one that stays up late, if someone called they'd wake everyone else up and then I'd be awake with my kids all night.

Unfortunately we can't have rules when it comes to business calls. Hubby is in the Army and when duty calls, it doesn't matter where he is, what he's doing or who is sleeping, he has to be available. As for everyone else? Unless it's an emergency I would say 11.

yeah I felt like saying earlier just because dinner needs to be left alone and clean up and we play with the kids. IDK I am just annoyed, the business isn't that important that it needs to be late night calls. I guess I should get used to it since I am going to be a midwife and I will get it all the time. But right now it is stupid things imo. But even if a friend breaks up or something with someone I am always there at any time. IDK

Business? 5-6 pm. Sorry if I'm making dinner, getting LO ready for her bath, I consider it evening and too late for business calls.
Friends? 9 pm. After that, I'm in bed.
Family? If it's an emergency, any time. If it's just to chit chat.. 11 pm maybe if I hear the phone ring.
