I think when people bully others to this point they should have some type of punishment.

The video she made broke my heart.

Wow, I hadn't seen the video.   I'm really sick of teenage girls fighting over stupid boys who don't even actually like them. You're dating the boy, you should be mad at him, not making another classmate's life a living hell. Pathetic.

I viewed her video. I so badly wished I could have just gone through the computer screen and hugged her. She felt so alone and hated. Bullying seems to have become worse than ever as there are many ways to do it. There needs to be strong anti-bullying laws that force schools to take action and even make it punishable up to a felony to the bully if it persists. I noted that Amanda was stunningly beautiful and wonder if some of the bullying was related to jealousy.

Absolutely. She was beautiful, she also had another video up of her singing and she was really good. I'd imagine the "girlfriend" of that guy was very jealous that he was interested in Amanda. It's really sad. Girls need to have more self esteem and stand up to the guys who are treating them like crap instead of the other girl who is also being played with.

The video was very sad to watch. I totally agree with your post.

The thing that pisses me off the most is that these parents of these bullies must not have any clue what a mean child they have. Do they not monitor what their kids post online at all?
The fact that these kids have unlimited access to social networking to spread this hate is unacceptable.
Parents need to pull their heads out of their ass & pay attention to what their kids are doing!!!

Very true. On top of that cyberbullying should be reported to the authories. The IP addresses should be easy to trace. This particular case is just one of many that are mounting. There are other things on yotube of young girls who committed suicide because of being bullied.

This hit so close to home in a way . My dad killed himself 6weeks ago ( I found him) but the fact that these kids are throwing a celebration party that she killed herself like are you kidding me. I know half of those girls have pictures of their breast online or sent them to some guy. Its sad that she tried to kill herself 2x before and her parents didn't keep a better eye on her kwim? It's smurfed up that the kids that bullied her are just going to get away with it. If I found out my daughters ever behaved in such a way there would be hell to pay. I feel so bad for this poor girl and her family. May she RIP!!!!

I feel so sick after reading all of the hateful comments people are leaving on Amanda's videos saying she deserved it and she's a slut for flashing on webcam and a ho for sleeping with that girl's boyfriend.
When a grown man manipulates a 12/13 year old into flashing on a webcam then uses that image to taunt her for the next year or more then that girl is not a slut. She is a victim of a sick, paedophile internet predator.
When a girl sleeps with another girl's boyfriend, yes she is wrong but so is he. No amount of being wrong is worth someone being bullied until they kill themselves.
So she made a couple of mistakes. That's what being young is all about, making mistakes and learning from them. These trolls leaving comments on her videos are as bad as the bullies who drove her to her death and I pray they never have daughters who make similar mistakes.
My heart hurts for Amanda and I hope she is at peace.
