Glucose testing..

Today I went for my glucose test. And after everyone telling me how terrible it was, I must say it wasn't any different than my last two blood work I had done. First they had to prick my finger and make sure sugar wasn't too low or too high before I drank the juice stuff. Well it was too low first time so had to be pricked again :/ probably the worst part of it all because now my finger on my left hand is sore.... Why it's only my left side that gets sore after a blood draw, IDK! Because finger on right hand feels like it did before it was pricked. Anyways, I had the orange flavored juice and it honestly didn't taste half bad! So after freaking out and getting all worried about nothing, I was just fine  

Really happy/grateful I've had one easy pregnancy! From no morning sickness, except a few upset stomachs, to everything going great with my little one !

I can't wait till my little guy gets here! Only 14 more weeks to go. And we decided on the name Adrian Michael for him. He is defiantly a very active one. Freaks me out when I actually feel with my hand him flip and turn. The feeling is so different!! My SO loves it!

The scary part is getting the results saying you have gestational diabetes. That's what happened to me.   Hope everything goes well for you!

Oh I know! Scared me a bit when it was low the first time they pricked my finger. So hope that isn't a bad sign for me :/

I just got mine done as well and I was freaking out thinking it would come back high, because the hour test frequently sends back false results. Mine came back normal, so don't stress too much mama!! Congrats on your LO and I wish you the best of luck on your test!!

Your test is different than mine. I haven't took mine yet (next Thursday) but I don't have to get pricked in the finger, and I have the drink at home (they want me to drink it before I come in). Hope it goes well for you and comes up negative!

Hope the same for you!! We didn't have to schedule when we did it. Just gave me a date and said to go in about that time.
