Lol. Calm yourself. They were just examples for the sake of conversation. Of course I know there is more to parenting. But obviously they are not doing anything to HURT children if they impose their values on their kids. They are meeting the physical needs and giving them love and support. So you think their views are hateful and gross? It's a difference in opinions and thoughts from your family. It's stupid, dont get me wrong, but it's only a viewpoint and that doesnt make a parent bad either.

I'm trying to say that just because someone thinks the way they do, doesn't mean they'll instill those values and teach their kids to be hateful. There are many traits and beliefs we all have, such as religion, that we dont force our kids into. I think it's hateful to assume someone is a bad parent because of a few smurffy tattoos. oh well. That's how you're going to think of people and that's all there is to it. so....

I disagree. It does a child a great disservice to raise them to be Nazis and I can't believe someone is arguing against that point.

Differences of opinions and lifestyles. I dont agree with people raising their kids to be bleeding heart liberals (love you Charyse!) but I certainly cant say that it's "hurting" the kid even if I disagree with it.

And for the record, I'm not saying I'm pro-nazi or anything. It's disgusting.... but while it may be smurfed up, I'm sure it's not CPS worthy. ;)

And I never said it was CPS worthy either, but it definitely is smurffy parenting in my book.

What I'm trying to say is coming off wrong. Yes, it is less than ideal for a kid to be raised in that environment. Is it abusive? kind of (mentally)... is it wrong? yes.

MY POINT... is that you cannot assume by looking at someone, that they ARE instilling those values in their children.

That's all. I'm not trying to rally the troops to support a neo nazi lifestyle.
