My son just woke up from his nap and complaining that his side is hurting.
And I was wondering if a 5 year old can have a pendictic [his appendix burst; I think]?

He can not laugh, he can not walk, and he is crying in pain. Any ideas? And he hopes that he is not dying. lol.

Take him to the ER if hes crying like that

It's VERY possible for a 5 year old to get appendicitis... I had it at 7 or 8... And I felt like you're describing... ER. Now. Better to be safe... especially if he's as bad as you say.

My doc told me if your child is ever crying inconsolably in pain to bring them in. I would deff get him checked out.

we are in the er. they said hes fine. but they are going to do an xray. he is acting fine.

Update since im sure mom is busy getting settled. He's fine they are on the way home or there by now. Turns out it was constipation lol so glad everything is ok. Better safe than sorry.
