re: Names you hate

Peyton ! I know like 5 people with dauhgters named Peyton or Payton. It's just terrible, IMO.

My son went to school with an adorable boy named angus. I cringed everytime is heard/saw his name.

Oh! No offense. I just don't prefer it. I hear it so much. But I absolutely don't like those names that could be for boy or girl. Just don't. And Sabastian remind me of a dog, or a house pet, or maybe even a butler... I just don't like it. Speaking of butler names I also don't like Alfred. That sounds like a butler name to me too.

Oh it's okay   People have their own tastes. I don't mind names that can be for boy or girl that much. I have a girl Taylor.. It's a family name though (mom's maiden name). Brooklyn can be for a boy or girl. The Beckham's little boy is Brooklyn ;)

I just heard that! I didn't know though. I told someone we were naming her Brooklyn and then they asked if it was a boy or girl. I was shocked. But I have never met anyone named Brookyn... (Which is usually the reason people don't like certain names... Because of someone they know with that name) and neither has my husband. But he thought long and hard and set his heart on Brookyln. I liked it. And we settled on it since at first he was so bummed we were having a girl I thought I would let him name her. Lol
I do like Taylor. Taylor and Casey are the only two I think I don't mind. But even though they could be boy or girl I only like them in a girl. Lol
