im 34 weeks pregnant when should i set up the crib

Until everything is very healthy with your baby? Are you having complications or something?

I would start getting everything ready after your baby shower. I'm almost 31w and have everything washed and sorted away, and DH will be side-carring the crib next weekend.

i had DDs room set up at 32wk i started setting up as we started getting things at 19wks

I set up my nursery at 33 weeks. My shower is tomorrow so I'll put up/together/away everything else then and probably wash any clothes we'll get on Sunday. If you are doing it yourself I'd say do it sooner than later.

Are you having complications? I had everything set up before 30 weeks and just finished up buying what was needed as I got closer to my due date, I'd say right now is a good time.

The only thing i didn't have done by 28 weeks was the carseat in my car lol.

I would go ahead and set it up. I'm thinking your mom means until the baby is here, because anything can happen to anyone. You will never truly know until your baby is in your arms.

Set it up and get everything organized. It helps you get excited for the baby... enjoy it!

i had DS's nursery done at 36 weeks but i started washing everthing a week before that, i was induced at 38 weeks 3 days. And all that i needed was a baby bath tub and supporter which my mama went and got while i was in the hospital.

But in all honesty setting up the nursery was a waste because DS doesnt sleep in it lol he's 7 weeks old though lol he sleeps in his pack n play next to mine and SO's bed. idk if ill ever be able to let him sleep in his own room untill hes a toddler lol i would wake up all the time to check on him.

I would start putting everything together and washing stuff now! I had my shower with my 1st pregnancy at 32 wks and immediately started washing and putting things together and it was a good thing because I went in for my 36 wk appt had high blood pressure (I hadn't had this till then) and ended up having my baby girl that day! If you get it done you can relax and just be ready for the baby to arrive rather than rushing at the end. Just my opinion

Im 19 weeks and I started getting furniture and big things set up when I was around 10 weeks. I have been slowly buying things every week and putting them away in the nursery. The only thing I have left to get is clothes, a bassinet, and a couple cases of diapers. I will be done and completely ready for baby by 25 weeks.

Im a little behind, I just set his crib up about 2 days ago (I'm 37 weeks). Only because my Aunt and Grandma bought him one and I had to wait til my baby shower to get it and that wasnt til the 6th.
