Letters to Santa

Whens everyone doing letters to santa/ talking to younger ones about what they may want for christmas.

My mum is going into hospital for an operation "definitely before christmas" but we don't know when yet. I want to get the kids to do letters to Santa sooner rather then later so we can get as much stuff sorted as possible before that comes and we get super busy (my mum is my main childcare so we'll be losing that plus wanting to help look after her for a change  )
Plus i'm excited for christmas and want to start shopping.

My husband thinks its way to early and they shouldn't write a letter to santa until 1st december.
this doesn't leave a whole lotta time to shop etc especially if my mum is in hospital, but does mean that they are not going to be hyper for christmas for months.

They only get to ask for 1 big thing, 1 medium thing and 1 little thing and i can mostly guess what its going to be.....

We usually do it after Thanksgiving.

I had my daughter do hers last month lol. We just did our layaway at walamrt last week

We have to pre-plan for christmas because one kids birthday is 2 week before christmas and the other is 2 weeks after.

good lord. hectic month in your house.

I just feel like I have 2 christmas's as there are 6 days between my sons birthday on the 10th may, my daughters on 11th may and my husbands on 16th may. So I feel like i'm doing christma sin may too

I would much rather have their birthdays in may then in december near christmas lol
