That's actually great to do that! I want to do that more often but never get the chance...But that is normal and great to be able to do that.

I say, get over it! I have a few drinks every single weekend. Granted I don't go out all the time and I don't get drunk every weekend, but still. As long as the kids are cared for.

Is the child still in the home?

I go out probably what you would consider a lot. My kids are usually sleeping, should I stay home and stare at them instead?

eh.. if the grandparents dont mind, then its no big deal. normally the kids are asleep at bar/club hours anyways

Colleen, did I ever tell you how much I missed you while not on BG?

I wrap my kids in bubble wrap when we go out of the house though. You can never be too careful.

To go out we have to split the kids up between grandmothers, we don't have any other one who can watch them and they can't handle both little ones at once... but if they could damn right I would be going out all the time. And I would be drunk... because I enjoy it.

My child gets out all the time. We take her all kinds of places and she visits family yadda yadda...just because I don't go on drinking benders every single weekend doesn't mean my child is somehow lacking in life.

I get a little annoyed when it's done every single weekend. I don't think that is necessary, but then again if the kids are well taken care of and the parents are spending enough time with them, then who am I to judge? I know probably a few months after I have this baby I will be going out on the weekends from time to time, but I literally have not had a night out in almost a year....I actually haven't even had a break from DD at all unless you want to call work or grocery shopping a break lol. But I haven't minded much. There are some days when it really gets to me though, and I'm like OMG I need a break NOW before I go crazy. But I'm pregnant and due in December so it will be at least springtime before I think about going out I'm sure. Part of the reason I haven't had a break is bc we moved to south Florida and have no one here to watch DD, but we are moving back home by our families in March so we will have plenty of help then.

DD is only six months old, but sometimes i need a break from her.
it doesn't get to happen often and when i'm away from her, i'm constantly texting whoever she is with and make them send me pictures of her. lol. SO and i actually really need a date night. maybe next weekend i'll dump my kid off on one of my friends and go out and drink

honestly.. none of the people on my facebook do that.. lol except the ones without kids.
