Getting ready to be a 1st time Mom in a few days!

My induction is scheduled for Sunday! I've been having small irregular contractions for a few days, and I'm losing my mucus plug. Doc says I'm very soft, am 1 cm dilated and guesses that I won't make it until Sunday before I go into labor. I had low amniotic fluid, which is why I'm being induced, at my visit yesterday and last week so I am on bed rest until induction.
I woke up this morning thinking holy crap- I'm really going to be a Mom so soon. I could not for the life of me go back to sleep. I have so many things I want to get done before I go into labor, but I know my Doc said to do nothing so my Mom and SO are gonna be working together to get everything done, which is fantastic, but I'm one of those people that has to do everything for herself so it gets done perfectly so I'm going to have to be super patient. lol. I guess I'm just so emotional today, so excited, and a little nervous. I can't wait to see what my son is going to look like, what his cry will sound like, how big he will be, and how his Dad reacts to his birth. I want nothing more than to just hold him right now.
Everything is making me get all teary eyed this morning. It doesn't help that I have some of the best friends and family a girl could ever ask for. I feel like I'm finally apart of this secret club I've been trying to get into my whole life. My best friend of 7 years is just as emotional about it as I am. You'd think it was her baby. hehe. My SO wrote me such a sweet poem yesterday, which is totally out of his character, and he posted it on Facebook for all to see- coming from him- a sports fanatic 6'3" 270 lb ex football player, bad boy who looks really mean most of the time- this is amazing! He is my best friend and I couldn't ever see myself without him.

yup am right with you im getting induced on monday and can not wait,but have not had any signs of labour yet......
