How often do babies go to the doctor?

Or will the doctor just tell you at every appointment?

Every two weeks for like the first month or two but they will let you know at the doctor  

DD is 8 1/2 months old. She had her first check up a week after discharge then another at 1 month. Then 2 months, 4 months, 6 months and her next is at 9 months then 12 months.

Once right after they get released from the hospital, once at two weeks, 1 month, 2 months, 4 months, 6 months, 9 months, 12 months, 15 months, 18 months, 24 months, and then annually after that.

if they are not sick, then there is just the "well baby check-up". here in Austria they do:
4-7 weeks
3-5 months
7-9 months
11-13 months
and then yearly, near their birthday after that until they are 5.

Sometimes there are a few appointments in between if they need booster immunization shots at different times.
