clogged milk duct?

posted 11th Oct
A friend of mine is a new mommy. She has been breastfeeding for a week now and said that she has a red area on her breast and there's a lump and it's very painful. Is there anything she can do. I never had this issue when I breastfed. Thanks ladies

Warm bath/shower, massaging the area and keep feeding off that size. Also I was told to try and angle their chin opposite to the lumpy clogged part, to try and use those ducts but I couldn't do that when I had clogged ducts as DS would have been nearly upside down lol. Expressing helps too to try and keep the milk flowing, takes maybe a day or two hut it should help.
