Honestly I think I just enjoy being a mother...more than I enjoyed life not being a mother. I'm not saying you don't but it sounds like you where not as ready to share your life.
Of course the decisions I make I do think about my children first and how its going to affect them but its not like those decisions would affect me negatively in any way.

At 18? No.. nobody's ready to share their life as a teenager, I mean people can fake it. Or maybe they had a really boring life and they don't realize what they could have had. Actually, I think like.. 8/10 teen moms who "love it" and were always perfect and ready, are liars. But who knows.

I love my child, who doesn't love their own child? But I sure as smurf could have used another 7 years without her.

If I went out dressed in a police officer's uniform then I wouldn't get all angry if someone mistook me for a police officer. Same goes if I went out dressed in tiny bra, pvc hotpants and thigh high boots. If I went out dressed in a hooker's uniform then I can't be surprised if someone mistakes me for a hooker. Looking like a slut and being a slut are 2 different things but can be easily confused. There's no shame in being young and promiscuous. If a single woman wants to have lots of sex then who is anyone to judge? Just because it's not what you (or I) like to do it doesn't mean it isn't ok. IMO being a slut isn't a woman who has lots of sex, a slut is a woman who cheats on her man and has lots of un-protected sex with a ton of dirty strangers and isn't careful or respectful to her own (or her sexual partner's) health..

Anyway back to the point, just because your decisions don't negatively effect you doesn't make them your decisions. I mean, when I was 4 my mom made my decisions, the right decisions but they weren't my decisions.

Just like the decision you make for what house to buy, what car to drive, how much education you'll receive, if you'll work, what to make for dinner, what Friday night will look like. Those are your decisions to make, but only 10% of the consideration for that decision will be about what's best for YOU.

Hence my point, your life being your life, that's 80-90 percent over.

I can honestly say I'm not faking being happy and I was ready to be a mother when my daughter was born...my life also wasn't boring before having a child.
However I do think my circumstances where different...my first baby was stillborn and when my second daughter was born I was more than just ready for her (was only 18 with her).

my first was stillborn so I got pregnant again.. and I was 21 now I'm 23 with a toddler and not anywhere I thoguht I would be.
