Is this weight normal?

My friend's daughter is 16.5 pounds.
In 10 days, she'll be one.
Was EBF until about 2 months ago.
Not preemie.
She goes to her pedi next week, but she was wondering.
She doesn't want to call and bother with what she feels is a silly question, especially since she's going in next week. She knows she's getting enough nutrition, so she's not worried about that.
But, what's the normal weight for a one year old?

idk if it's normal but my DD weighed about that much at 1.

My daughter only weighed 18 pounds at TWO, and she is a happy, normal 4 year old, just a little petite thing. My son on the other hand is 22 pounds and only 9 months old. All kids are different!

every baby is different. it depends on their birth weight, how much they eat, ect. at 1, my EBF baby was 19 lbs. but she was born 9 lbs 5 oz

m not sure what a normal weight may be but i believe when my son was 1 he was about 25 pounds. but he also gained alot of weight each month. if the doctor hasn't said anything on her previous appointments i wouldn't worry. I have a 3 yr old niece who will be 4 soon and shes 30 pounds. some kids are just naturally small

It's on the small side but as long as LO isn't loosing weight and isn't unhealthy then she is fine.
My LO weighed about that when she turned 1. She's 2 1/2 and is only 23lbs.
Some babies are small.

It's normal.

My oldest DD was 17 pounds when she was 1 and my youngest was 18 pounds at her 1 year check up. All kids are different and don't grow the same. I wouldn't worry especially if she is eating good.

Same here. Mine was 7 pounds at birth then around that weight at age 1 and now she is three and about 25 pounds.

Ditto, my DD was only 19 pounds at age 2, 24 at age 3 and now almost four is 27.
