re: Rant, probably going to make a few mad

posted 11th Oct
I am an STNA and was not able to work from 4 weeks to 20 weeks. I was very eager to go back as soon as the doctor gave me the okay. Unfortunately, I was not able to work past week 33 due to severe hip and back pain. During my time there though I was told by my doctor that there is no way to hurt the baby just by lifting my patients because the baby is so well protected in there. I would not have done the work if my baby were in danger. I am also high risk from my previous pregnancies. My first I went into preterm labor at 24 weeks (thnkfully they were able to stop it). And my 2nd I had a placental abruption at 37 weeks so he was an emergency csection. I wish I could've worked longer because honestly we could really use the money with this being our 5th child (my 3rd) altogether. My first pregnancy I worked up until I had my son and was on my feet all day. Tomorrow I will be 37 weeks and most days the pain is almost unbareable. I wouldn't say Im lazy because of it though. I still take care of my children and our two dogs and a house completely by myself because my boyfriend has the mentality that since he works he doesnt have to do anything else. Like I said I wish I couldve worked past 33 weeks, but in my circumstances I could not :-( But big props to the women who can.......safely.

You're stupid if you thought people wouldn't react this way lmao you even posted in the headline that you would probably piss a couple of people off....and mission accomplished you did! And then you changed your "meaning" of your original post after seeing what everyone had to say to make it seem like you weren't just bitching about women wanting to stop working who have less physically demanding jobs than you do. Lmao be real you aren't fooling anyone but yourself. You posted to bitch about other pregnant women bitching about being in pain when they aren't the ones lifting 200-400 pounds like you are. The end. At least these other women don't have their doctors shaking their heads at them for taking a risk like that. Then you have the audacity to say "suck it up". YOU suck it up! You're the one who made this thread to complain!

Um the only thing you're 20ish posts say about you is that you're extremely new to this website. And the SECOND post you made was to bitch about other pregnant women. The second. And yeah, those of us who have a high post count are most likely women who have been on this site for YEARS. Not a month.

I feel much better now that I have got to rant. I thank you all for your opinions and wish you happy and healthy babies  . This has been very entertaining, I wasn't expecting this post to get so much attention but I'm glad it did. It has been interesting to read the many replies.

Shoot I am gonna complain as much as I want, whether I do light work or heavy work or fulltime or part time,or whether I do nothing at all...you can be the laziest pregnant person BUT still feel like crap,... bc pregnacy is a BITCH, no matter what! ....and a BITCH is always something worthy to complain about.

They have a right to complain, just like you do.   Just because their job isn't as difficult as yours doesn't mean it's not hard on them still.

You like making a spectacle out of yourself for attention? Maybe you need a hobby

I'm confused as to why people say I need a hobby lol. What part of my post shows that I have any spare time??? Lol

Because you have enough time and energy to be worried about what other pregnant women are doing.

It might keep you from being so negative if you had something constructive to do with the energy you put into rsnts about things that don't affect your life at all. Maybe take up knitting or something.
