Seriously, lol. With my first I had her at 27 weeks, with my 2nd I was on bedrest from 25 weeks until I had him at 37 weeks, and on restrictions the rest, haha. It SUCKS.

But the fact that I went through that doesn't diminish others experience. Just because *I* had a poor experience, doesn't mean that a woman who is 35 weeks is not entitled to gripe about her pain. What does my experience have to do with HER complaining? Nothing! If you haven't experienced something you can't be expected to be able to really go "Oh, well, otherse have it worse so I should shut up."

I was a server up until about 33 weeks. Being on my feet the entire shift was way too much for ME. Everyone and every pregnancy is DIFFERENT so regardless of your job you shouldnt bash on people because they have an "easier job"   Who are you to determine that.

Since you are about to be a mother, you might want to start putting your baby's needs first now and stop trying to compete with other moms to show that you are the toughest and the best one

and nobody likes THAT mom btw. Lol

You shouldn't be doing your job at that many weeks pregnant, you are unnecessarily putting your baby at risk. I was always under the impression that as long as you were doing something before you were pregnant that you could continue to do it throughout your pregnancy, I unfortunately found out that wasn't the case when I went into labour 10 weeks too early because of being too active and lifting too much weight even though I was doing it before. Even though it didn't hurt my body to do it it did risk my baby's health. And after having other pregnancies I now know that body was increadibly comfortable during that pregnancy as far as pregnancies comfort goes. I've had others that weren't nearly so comfortable. Count your lucky stars that your body stayed in good condition for your pregnancy, most women aren't so fortunate, it certainly doesn't negate their right to complain just because you were lucky and got an 'easy on your body' pregnancy, which is the only reason it's even been possible for you to continue to do your job, most women don't come from as good a baseline as you are.

Couldn't have said it any better.
I left work as a laborer at 5 months pregnant because it was causing serious back pain standing on my feet in steel toed boots for 9.5 hours a day. Everyone's job and experiences are different. I couldn't imagine how bad on my back sitting for 40 hours a week would be either!

Shooot being a server AND being pregnant is far from easy! Waitressing IS ALL I have done, and worked up till I was nearly 40wks. Then DH and I opened our own restauarnt, had it for 3 yrs and I got pregnent with DS and worked 10-12 hrs a day 6-7 days a week AND take care of 2 other children and a household(I so needed a housekeeper then)...I sooo feel your pain.

Pregnacy is misery for EVERYONE!

And how would you pay the bills if your baby ended up the NICU or if you ended up on bedrest? No said you had to stop working but perhaps you needed to be smarter about and ask for light duty.

I don't mean to sound mean, but you'd be amazed at the bills that wrack up when you end up with a preemie. I know, trust me. You end up taking a LOT more time off.

And again, just because YOU have no choice but to work doesn't mean you SHOULD BE, and it doesn't mean that other women can't complain even if yuo think they have it "easier." As others have said, the fact that you are able to work your job at 35 weeks might mean you have it a heck of a lot easier then women who have tons of complications. You just can't compare two women and two pregnancies. Can't be done. One woman may have a ton of pain, andother may have none. One may handle pain better then another. You just don't know.
